BEAR EARS

What you will need:

A 1” strip of construction paper long enough to fit around your head.
Two 6” squares of construction paper
Glue
Scissors
*Markers or Crayons, etc. (see below)
Stapler

Procedure

1. Look at pictures of grizzly, black, polar, brown, and panda bears. Compare their ears. Decide what kind of ears you want to make.

2. Draw one ear on each of the 6” squares of paper.

3. Cut out your bear ears.

4. Decorate your headband and ears.

5. Let someone help you staple your headband to fit your head.

6. Glue your bear ears on the headband above your ears.

Let your imagination run wild! Decorate your ears with crayons, markers, collage material, paint, glitter…whatever you want! Fringe the ears to make them look furry. What else can you do to make your ears unique?Write your “bear name” on your headband.
